Almost all essay questions in law school require students to critically evaluate or critically analyse a quote or a legal principle. But what does this actually mean and how do you do it? Join Dr Ben Wardle for a masterclass on writing law essays with critical analysis and learn the techniques and skills needed to achieve high marks in this common form of assessment. The online masterclass will cover: - breaking down the essay question; - advanced legal research techniques for essay questions; - developing a thesis and major arguments; - critical thinking skills; - critical analysis using legal theory, precedent, and academic research; - guidance on how to improve your essay writing skills. Dr Wardle will provide many actual law essay questions and show you how to approach answering them. All students will receive the Australian Law Tutor Guide to Writing Law Essays (worth $29) and a video recording of the masterclass to refer back to at any time.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, you must cancel 24 hours in advance. If you cancel within 24 hours of the booking time we reserve the right keep your payment. Bookings can be rescheduled or cancelled more than 24 hours before a session by logging in and going to 'My Bookings.'
